The Farm Report with YankeesFarm 4/24/24 Roderick Arias has a night

AAA Scranton W 6-1 

 Caleb Durbin, showing promising potential for the MLB, had a good night, going 2-4 with a walk, a run scored, and two stolen bases. With DJ facing a setback, Durbin’s performance hints at a potential MLB debut in the near future. Everson Pereira had a very good night, going 2-5, hitting his seventh HR of the season, and scoring two RBIs.

  

Will Warren got the start, went six innings, and allowed only two hits, one run, one walk, and six strikeouts. This is his 2nd start in a row in that he was dominate. 

 

AA Somerset L 4-3

Spencer Jones had a tough game, going 0-5 with two strikeouts. Ben Rice was 0-1 with 3 walks. Ben Cowles is off to an incredible start this year, hitting .353 with a 1.061 OPS. He kept that up tonight, going 2-4 with a HR. 

Bailey Dees started and had a bit of a tough night. He went five innings and allowed two runs on seven hits but walked four and struck out six. He also allowed 2 HRs. 

A+ Hudson Valley L 3-2 

Jace Avina who we got back in the Jake Bauers deal, is off to an incredible start to his Yankee career. He is hitting .364 with a 1.045 OPS so far. He had a huge night, going 3-4 with an HR and 2 RBIs.

Romeo went 1-4 with a double. Not a great night in Hudson Valley. 

Jackson Fristoe started and had a good one. He went 3.2 innings, one hit, one run, two walks and 5 strikeouts. Shields followed that up with an excellent outing, going 2.1 innings with a walk and a strikeout. 

A Tampa  L 14-5 

Oscar Gonzales, who is rehabbing, was 2-4 with a HR. Tejada was 2-5 with a double and is hitting .328 on the season. Roderick Arias had his best game of the season going 3-4 with a walk and run scored

. Willy Montero was 2-4 with two doubles, an RBI, and a run scored. Palencia was 2-4 with two doubles and 2 RBIs.
