This week in the Minors Leagues – Yankees Affiliates

 Triple A – RailRiders The RailRiders hosted the Syracuse Mets the Affiliate of the New York Mets, in the seven games series (Makeup of the PPD on April 3rd) the RailRiders lost the series 3-4, Luis Torrens was the top player of the week batting .429, 4 Runs Score, 4 RBI, 2 Homeruns, stolen bases, 2B, SF, Walks.  With the series lost the Railriders improved to 32-19, first in the International League. Other Top players of the week Greg Allen 18 at bats 6 Hit, 4 Runs, RBI, 4 BB, 3 SB. Oscar Gonzalez 23 at bats 7 Hits, 2 Runs, 4 RBI, HR, 2B, SB, BB. Caleb Durbin 12 at bats 6 Hits, 4 Runs, 4 RBI, HR, 2 BB, 3 2B, HP (before going to the IL after the HP)

Double A – Somerset Somerset visited The New Hampshire Fisher Cats the affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, in the 7 games series (Makeup of the PPD on May 5th in Somerset) Somerset lost the series 3-4.  Ben Rice was the top player of the week batting .316, 6 Runs Score, 7 RBI, 3 Homerun, 2B, 5 Walk, 2 stolen bases, HP.

With the series lost Somerset improved to 22-23, now fourth place in the East North of the Eastern League, two games behind first place. Agustin Ramirez 23 at bats 6 Hits, 5 Runs, 5 RBI, 2 BB, 3 SB, SF, HP, 2 2B, 3B

High A – Hudson Hudson Valley Visited The Brooklyn Cyclones the affiliate of the New York Mets, in the 6 games series Hudson lost the series 2-4.  Jesus Rodriguez was the top player of the week batting .381, 3 Runs, 2 RBI, 4 2B, 2 Walks. With the series lost Hudson Valley improved to 21-21, fifth place in the South Atlantic North of the South Atlantic League, three and half-games behind first place. Cole Gabrielson 16 at bats 5 Hits, 3 Runs, RBI, 3 2B, SB, HP.

Cam Schlittler 9 2/3 IP, 5 H, ER, 7 BB, 13 K, 2 games started no decision in either.

Low A – Tampa Tarpons Tarpons visited the Jupiter Hammerheads the affiliate of the Miami Marlins, in the six games series Tarpons won the series 4-2.  Allen Facundo was the top player of the week, one start 5 innings 2 Hits, 1 base on balls, 11 Strikeout.  With the series win the Tarpons improved to 18-27, sixth place in the FSL West of the Florida State League, fourteen games behind first place. George Lombart Jr. 25 at bats 7 Hits, 2 Runs, 3 RBI, 3B, 3 BB. Luis Serna 5 2/3 IP, 2 H, ER, BB, 7 K. Ryan Harvey 5 1/3 IP,2 H, ER, BB.
