The 5% overage is $406,520 (my understanding is that it is 5% of the total original pool value of $8,130,400). They can also use this to sign any undrafted players that would cost above $150,000, or anyone drafted in rounds 11-20 that cost above $150,000.
The 2 toughest signs remaining from outside the top 10 rounds are the 2 kids left to sign – the HS kid from round 20, and the Estrada kid from round 11 (JUCO).
So, we shall see.
]]>Thank you, that has been fixed. I didn’t see Cunningham on the transactions list on the MiLB site, but did just see him on the Yankees site. Only Rossi was listed. Why they have different transactions lists is beyond me.
